Terms of Service

Last updated: [date]

1. Who we are

Shipd is operated by [Company legal name], [registered address], India ("Shipd", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Shipd you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

Shipd connects to your GitHub repositories and uses AI agents to work on issues you label. For each task it opens a draft pull request with code changes, tests and review notes. Nothing is merged or deployed by Shipd. You decide what to approve, merge and release.

AI output can contain mistakes, security flaws or incomplete work. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and approving every change before it is used.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your business. Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including what repositories you connect.

4. Plans, billing and taxes

5. Your code and data

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Shipd to build malware or anything illegal, to infringe others' rights, to attack or overload the service, to bypass plan limits, or to access repositories you are not authorised to use.

7. Third-party services

Shipd relies on GitHub, an AI model provider ([name, for example Anthropic]), hosting providers and payment processors. Their outages or changes may affect the service.

8. No guarantee of results

Shipd is provided as is. We do not guarantee that tasks will succeed, that code will be error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by changes you chose to merge or deploy. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [Lawyer to confirm.]

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Shipd and delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms or put the service or other customers at risk.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [city], India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your country give you the right to go to local courts.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will tell you about important changes by email or in the app. Questions: hello@shipd.space.
